In this course, students will learn to construct a variety of pin mechanisms including single-needle pinbacks, double-needle pinbacks, stick pins, and fibulae. In addition to learning to construct pin mechanisms, students will learn techniques to incorporate these mechanisms into finished jewelry objects.

Introduction to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience necessary. 

$325 (includes a $25 materials fee)

Tuition and fee for classes at the Baltimore are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to encourage more donations and subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
