In this two day class, students will learn about fabricating basket settings for stones and non-metal materials. Demonstrations will cover the basics of building and setting with basket settings, their functionality and their implementation. Students will fabricate settings for standard round, faceted stones, as well as square-shaped and flat bottom stones. 

Prerequisite: Metals + Jewelry 1 or equivalent experience.

 $390 includes a $25 supply fee

Tuition and fees for classes at the Baltimore Jewelry Center are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to more equitably fund our classes and encourage more donations to subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
