In this workshop, participants will become familiar with the studio's new Orion Pulse Arc Welding system while learning about its many jewelry and metalsmithing applications for ferrous, precious, and base metals. Participants will leave the workshop with a strong understanding of how this machine can transform a jewelry repair, and can even become a method of creation in itself! 

Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience

$390 (includes a $25 materials fee)

Tuition and fees for classes at the Baltimore Jewelry Center are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to more equitably fund our classes and encourage more donations to subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
