Three Band Projects - Students will complete three distinct band projects while learning three melee setting styles: bright-cut band, French fishtail band, and castle-set band. The course emphasizes precision in seat preparation, cutting, and uniformity. Students will finish with three wearable rings that demonstrate professional-level stone-setting techniques.

Prerequisites: Metals + Jewelry 1 or equivalent experience.

$670 (includes a $135 materials fee)

Tuition and fees for classes at the Baltimore Jewelry Center are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to more equitably fund our classes and encourage more donations to subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
