Earrings are a defining form of jewelry and one that every aspiring jeweler should be well-versed in making. This one day workshop is for the beginning student who is interested in learning what goes into creating a simple pair of hand-sawn, stud earrings. Students, with instructor assistance, will make a pair of earrings from start to finish; they will learn how to saw, file, texture, and solder to make a simple pair of stud earrings.

No experience necessary. All materials provided.

Tuition and fee for classes at the Baltimore are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to encourage more donations and subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
