Students explore the various methods of soldered sheet metal inlay, plain and twisted wire inlay and solder inlay, making samples of each. Samples are incorporated into a piece; subsequently students make a piece of their choice using married metals, exploring patinas and surface treatment to complement the metals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePrerequisite: Metals + Jewelry 1 or equivalent experience.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMaterials Kit provided. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to more equitably fund our classes and encourage more donations to subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class.
