Students will learn the basics of lighting design and how to wire for traditional incandescent bulbs. We will start the class by creating paper models that will be transformed into metal lighted forms, such as a pendant light or small table lamp. The class will cover basic metal forming, soldering, and brazing to fabricate forms.
