Keum Boo - One Day Workshop

Molly Shulman | Saturday, October 17 | 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Signup Deadline: September 30

Do you love the look of silver and gold together? Have you found yourself interested in gold accents on a silver piece? Keum-Boo is a Korean technique in which 24k gold foil is fused to a fine silver surface. This technique has been around for ages and is a beautiful way to add a touch of gold to an otherwise silver piece. The process is all about routine as it can be a slow and repetitive one. In this class you will explore the technique and make your own set of silver and gold charms.

No experience necessary.

Materials kit provided. Registration includes a $50 materials fee.

Tuition and fee for classes at the Baltimore are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to encourage more donations and subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
