Introduction to Containers
J Diamond | Thursdays I 6:30 - 10 pm I July 24 - August 14
Nice things deserve to be kept in nice containers, and nice containers are fun to make. In this course, students will be introduced to hollowware and functional objects by constructing small-scale boxes with fitted lids. In addition to a completed container, at the end of this class students will have strengthened skills in hollow-forming, measuring, and fitting components for soldering.

Tuition and fees for classes at the Baltimore Jewelry Center are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to more equitably fund our classes and encourage more donations to subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
