In this 4-week class, we’ll learn how to incorporate 2d techniques of drawing, photography, and printmaking into your metal practice. The class will cover different electroetching methods, from asphaltum to pnp paper, and how to use both the saltwater and copper nitrate baths. Additionally, students will learn various finishing techniques for their etched pieces, including painting and patina. This class will focus on making samples to build confidence and a better understanding of electroetching.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePrerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMaterials Kit provided.
