Up your setting and fabrication skills with this stonesetting class. Set unusual-shaped found objects and stones in light structures and explore the wearable possibilities of the basket setting. Over four weeks, students will learn to fabricate and set single-gallery, double-gallery, and Tiffany Setting baskets.

Prerequisite: Metals + Jewelry 1 or equivalent experience.

Materials kit provided. Registration includes a $35 materials fee.

Tuition and fees for classes at the Baltimore Jewelry Center are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to more equitably fund our classes and encourage more donations to subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
