Metals + Jewelry 2

Molly Shulman | Wednesdays | 6:30 - 10:00 pm | September 10 - December 3*

*No class November 26

In this class students will receive an in depth follow up to their Metals and Jewelry 1 (or equivalent) education. We will explore more advanced versions of techniques like riveting, finishing, soldering, as well as new techniques such as basic bezel setting and advanced coloring processes. This course is a great springboard into more advanced coursework, but it can also be repeated to allow students to strengthen their jewelry and metals skills.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Metalsmithing and Jewelry or Metals + Jewelry 1

$525 (includes $25 materials fee)

Tuition and fees for classes at the Baltimore Jewelry Center are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to more equitably fund our classes and encourage more donations to subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.

Sold out.
