Each week, students will be given a different ideation challenge where they will create jewelry, objects, and drawings using easily accessible materials including food scraps, discarded objects, and materials found in nature. At the end of class, we will discuss the students’ outcomes as a group. These discussions, a low stakes environment, and an introduction to new ways of working can redirect your creative process and inspire new ways of thinking, working, and seeing. Students will document their processes and findings to create a final presentation that will be delivered at the end of class.
