Signup Deadline June 24

French for "letting in daylight," plique-á-jour is an application of transparent enamels in jewelry to create a stained-glass window-like effect. This workshop will introduce you to saw-pierced plique-á-jour techniques and design considerations for their application. Students can expect to leave class with a pendant created with the techniques shown in class.

Students in this class should have prior experience enameling before enrolling in this class. Materials kit provided. Registration includes a $50 materials fee.

Tuition and fee for classes at the Baltimore are subsidized in large part by grants and contributions from our community. The rate that we charge for each class covers only 60% of the true cost to run the class. In an effort to encourage more donations and subsidize our programs, we are now pricing classes on a sliding scale. If you are able to do so, please consider paying a higher rate for your class. The difference you pay will be considered a donation and you will be issued a donation receipt.
